The story of my life these days. I can't believe the last post was in July. Lots has happened since which I probably won't have time to blog about most of it but I will try my best. Little E is on his second day of boycotting naps so he is locked in his room for now, but that will only last so long. So the highlights of the past 5 months have been:
-a visit from family from TX
- Baby B was born
- Little E turned 2
- AC turned 4
- Halloween
- Baby B was blessed
-Thanksgiving
- a visit from family from UT and NV
- getting ready for Christmas
There are probably more but my brain power has sufficiently decreased so that I can now barely form sentences let alone remember anything. For me 3 kids has been a lifestyle change. It's great and overwhelming and chaotic and fun all at the same time. I was just complaining to my sister-in-law about it. I feel like we hardly ever get out but yet I can't keep up with anything at home. Laundry is one of my biggest enemies right now. It's amazing how something so little can add so much laundry to the mix. Ok, well enough about complaining lets get to the highlights.
The husbands family came out in June/July which was a blast. The kids enjoyed a bouncy house for the first time. I wish I had one at home, I think this is the one thing that can almost wear Little E out. We had some good food, saw fireworks, went swimming . . . I can't even remember all that we did but I just remember that it was tons of fun and the kids had so much fun with their cousins. I have lots of cute pics that I have to go through so I will try to post them soon.
The birth of Baby B . . . hallelujah! It is great to be done with the pregnancy. He came on August 21st, a day before his due date, I was induced so he had no choice. Although I think I was starting to go into labor anyways so I think he would have come on the 21st or 22nd anyways. Which is good because he was 9 lbs. 3 oz. I'm very glad I didn't have to go any longer. Labor and delivery was good. For some reason I was set on having the same experience that I had with Little E's labor so I decided not to go for the epidural. Later I was totally regretting that decision. Mostly regretting it afterwards because I bled a lot and they had to keep "massaging" my stomach which felt more like punching to me. But everything was fine and we were both healthy and now I have forgotten most of it so its great. Baby B was born with a full head of hair unlike the other 2 and has kept it so that has been pretty fun. He has been the most low maintenance of the 3. He is so happy and calm and he usually is content to just sit around and watch his two crazy siblings. AC made him laugh for the first time yesterday. That cute little baby chuckle. It was fun to watch. AC and Little E love him to death and sometimes I think Little E might really love him to death. Lately he has been paying a lot of attention to the baby. That is my nice way of saying he won't leave the poor baby alone. I can't decide whether he really loves him or if that is just his cover and he is really just tormenting the poor thing.
Well, this post is starting to get pretty long so I better put some pictures in and end it for now.

You blogged!Like I'm one to talk ☺
Cute photos of Baby B and love the new header.
I'm so with you on the laundry thing... absolutely my nemesis. That and dust though I don't care about the dust as much anymore. Kids will do that to you. Can't sweat over dust when you've got laundry piled to the ceiling! (Not really but close)
Can't wait to see you guys at Christmas! It's next week. That blows my mind. Sorry, still fretting over the passage of time!
Adorable kids in those pictures!!!
Hey...I may be doing slightly better than you at this blog thing...thanks for slacking off a bit so I can feel better about myself. You're good to me like that ;)
Cute pics of Baby B. I love the one in the swing thing with him sucking his thumb. Adorable.
I hear you on the laundry too. I think I do laundry every day (or at least I SHOULD)! It grew exponentially with the 3rd, that's for sure!
Well, we miss you guys. I'm glad we made the highlights reel, we'll have to make some more highlights for 2011!!!
I hear you about the laundry. Three kids makes a huge difference when it comes to that. I finally started feeling back in the swing of things in about March when James was about 8 months old. Coincidently that is the same time that he finally started sleeping through the night most of the time! :)
